Depth Melody

The band was formed in early spring 2006 of four young musicians with no concrete idea of the music they wanted to play. Their purpose was to play and get pleasure together with their instruments. After several compositions, a Viking folk metal style was getting out of this mass of sounds. Influenced by their Nordic fellow they dived into this epic approach which suited perfectly with all of them although unusual in their region. After two years we finally could hear their first studio recording. A three songs EP called « Lonely Quest » which arouse a particular interest for Helvetic people. The EP allows them to appear in a Swiss magazine and make some interesting shows specially the opening of « Eluveitie », « Heidevolk » and « Black Messiah ». They have the opportunity to make a video clip collaborating with a school. They jumped at the chance to put some colors on their music. Three years after their beginnings Depth Melody is a quartet who just wants to make shows and get experiences and power like Vikings !
