They are five energetic members. Together they form a trademark synth meets power-pop sound that has teenagers frolicking for more… Meet The Never Ever. Heralding from Sydney Sutherland Shire, the five-piece of twenty-something's have already achieved a lengthy list of milestones for a band of just two years. Having supported the likes of International heavyweights including Simple Plan, Yellowcard, Ivoryline, The Wonder Years and domestic artists including Diviney (the solo project of Short Stack front-man Shaun Diviney), Owl Eyes and Sneaky Sound System. In their own right, the band has embarked on two national solo tours, which has included sold out shows in Sydney and Perth. Hailed by Sydney's Daily Telegraph as one of the bands fuelling the explosion of the teen music market in Australia, The Never Ever – Dylan Nash (Vocals), Bradlee Smith (Guitar), Lanii Miller (Synth), Pat Ortiz (Bass/Vocals) and Jess Penfold (Drums) – has amassed an impressive fan base with over 336,000 YouTube views and over 20,000 fans collectively across their facebook and twitter networks. The Never Ever's 2011 debut single came in the form of "Hey KT", which featured on the band's debut EP "Dancefloors & Dinosaurs", has had over 136,000 youTube views within twelve months and, at the time of it's release, was the number one trending topic on Twitter Australia-wide and number six globally. The Never Ever's second EP, "Breathe" was released in March 2012 becoming an instant hit amongst the band's loyal and ever-growing fan base. The first single, "Love's Got Me Tipsy" was launched to a sold out Sydney Harbour Cruise and was followed up by a successful national tour. The release earnt them appearances on television shows including Landed Music (Southern Cross Ten), Stay Tuned (ABC 3), Studio 3 (ABC 3) and Saturday Disney (Seven) and graced the glossy pages of popular Australia's youth magazines such as Girlfriend, Dolly, DMAG, Blunt Magazine and more. Moving in to 2013, there is no sign of slowing for the band have just returned from their first international trip which saw them working on their third EP in New York with multi-platinum Music Producer, Shep Goodman who has been at the production helm of popular artists including Forever The Sickest Kids, Four Year Strong and Cute Is What We Aim For, to name a few. The EP is due for release in July and will be supported on the bands national tour "The Hoodie Weather Tour" which was announced this week.
