The Embraced

Like a phoenix from the ashes, The Embraced was born out of its members’ desire to confront their differences and create music influenced by their different backgrounds. Maybe that’s the reason their collaboration has created a sound separate from any other. “We aren’t trying to be something we are not,” said Vocalist Christopher Ryan. “We stay true to ourselves and our values, and it comes through in our music. People can sense that.” Drawing from reflections on their lives in general and all the experiences collected, The Embraced serves audiences with a sound that is whatever you want it to be: a taste of melody that’s singable, that sticks in your head, a rock vibe that moves you, effects and harmonies that are singular and uncharted. So whether members got their musical starts mimicking vintage Nintendo game music on the piano or learning to play guitar as a teen or dreaming big while watching a musician father play drums onstage in the 1970’s – it’s evident that they have channeled their talents and love of music into a message and performance to be shared by all.
