Biographie
The band was formed in 1995 and its initial infuences was old British Crust/Grind like early Hellbastard, Amebix, Axegrinder, Bolt Thrower. Later on and after a few line-up changes some Death Metal vibes were incorporated (while the crust vibes faided away) and the debut self-titled MCD was released late 1997. Style was mostly mid-paced raw Death Metal in the vein of Bolt Thrower, Unleashed, Asphyx, Amebix and lyrics at the time were in Greek. A couple of really succesfull gigs occured and then the band had to be put on ice due to some members joining the army and lack of dedication by the drummer. After a few years the band was asked to join a split 7" release so with a handful of rehearsals with a session drummer, a couple of new tracks were recorded and the NUCLEAR WINTER/INCRIMINATED split 7" saw the light of day in 2001 by Shades Of Autumn Productions (Finland, currently called Breath Of Pestilence), limited to 300 copies. Lyrics in English from now on... After yet another long break, one of the early band members with the help of a new drummer recorded the 'Abomination Virginborn' Demo 2003. This time things were taken to a whole new level as the 3 new songs show no signs of the band's past. Raw, dirty, uncompromising Death Metal which blended the best elements of both old and new scenes, resulting to something which could be compared to a mix of KAAMOS, REPUGNANT, IMMOLATION, SLAYER, BOLT THROWER and NECROPHOBIC. All dressed with a great, heavy, yet raw production/sound and with matching Blasphemous and dirty artwork by sick artist Ketola (known for his work with Kaamos, Funeral Mist, Watain, Murder Squad, Marduk, Centinex etc..). Carved on professionally dubbed TAPES, as it's appropriate for a demo release, unlike most demos which come as a CD-R these days... Shortly it will be re-released on vinyl by Blastbeat Mailmurder. However, even though the demo was praised widely around the world, it was obvious that the band should be put to rest, since none of the initial band members were involved anymore... Thus the people responsible for the crushing swansong demo decided to continue by starting a whole new band. And that's another story.
